Continuous improvement is a district's ongoing commitment to quality improvement efforts and "is a process or approach to problem-solving that represents an ongoing effort to improve outcomes" (American Society for Quality, n.d. as cited in Best & Dunlap, 2014).

  • Improvement and Implementation Sciences

    Implementation science is the scientific study of methods and strategies that support the uptake of evidence-based practices into regular use (Eccles & Mittman, 2006).

    Improvement science refers to “a methodology that uses cycles of inquiry to learn what is needed to improve practice” (Bryk et al., 2015).
